Privacy Policy & Disclaimers

What data this site collects (very little), how purchases work, and the honest limits of what our content can do for you.

Privacy policy

What we collect

FlightAnxiety.com is a static website. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels or fingerprinting, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

  • Free Calm Flight Card. The free card is delivered via Gumroad (Gumroad, Inc.). When you download it, Gumroad collects your email address to deliver the file — see Gumroad's privacy policy for how they handle your data.
  • Purchase details (ebook). Payments for Calm Skies are processed by Gumroad. We never see or store your card details. We receive your email address and order reference so we can deliver your ebook and handle refunds — see Gumroad's privacy policy for details.
  • Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) for security and troubleshooting. These are kept for a limited time and not combined with other data.

What we never do

  • Sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
  • Send you anything you didn't sign up for.
  • Keep your data longer than needed for the purpose it was collected for.

Your rights

You can request to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you at any time by emailing hello@flightanxiety.com. If you're in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google Ireland Ltd.) to understand, in aggregate, which pages are visited and how visitors find the site. This helps us improve the guides. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) and processes pseudonymized usage data; your IP address is anonymized before storage. We do not use this data for advertising and do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. You can block analytics cookies via your browser settings or with Google's opt-out add-on.

Cookies

This site uses no marketing or advertising cookies. The only cookies in use are the analytics cookies described above.

Medical & psychological disclaimer

All content on FlightAnxiety.com — articles, techniques, checklists and the Calm Skies ebook — is provided for general information and self-help purposes only. It is not medical, psychological or psychiatric advice, and it is no substitute for diagnosis or treatment by a qualified professional.

  • Never start, stop or change medication based on information from this site.
  • Always consult your doctor or pharmacist before using medication or supplements for flight anxiety — especially if you take other medication, are pregnant, or have a medical condition.
  • If your anxiety is severe, long-lasting or affects your daily life, please seek help from a licensed psychologist, psychiatrist or your GP. Fear of flying is very treatable with professional support.

Accuracy disclaimer

We work hard to keep statistics and safety information accurate and current, and we list our sources per article. Aviation data and research evolve, so figures may be updated as new reports appear. If you spot an error, tell us — we'll check and correct it.

Results disclaimer

The techniques described here help many people, but no method works identically for everyone. Buying the ebook or reading this site does not guarantee a specific result; it gives you a structured, evidence-based approach and the tools to practice it.

Affiliate & commercial disclosure

This site is funded by sales of our own ebook, Calm Skies. We currently run no display ads and publish no sponsored content. If an article ever contains an affiliate link or paid placement, it will be clearly marked on that page.

Changes to this page

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The "last updated" date at the top always shows the current version.
